George 'Spotted Horse' Leduc (traditional name 'Sunka Wakan Gleska') is a Native American flutist, tradition story teller, motivational speaker, recording artist and performs throughout the United States and Canada. Spotted Horse, as he is called by friends and relatives, is an active traditional dancer and participates within many traditional native ceremonies. As an enrolled member of the Kespu'kwith Metis Council of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, the Métis Eastern Tribal Indian Society of Maine and of Mi'kmaq (Micmac) First Nation descent Spotted Horse participates in workshops, museums and schools nationally sharing of his heritage, knowledge and respect of Native American culture, songs and music for all the world. Spotted Horse states that he has the backing of his ancestral past as his basis to communicate with people, particularly the young for he is commitment to their future.
